okayy....im a loyal sprint fan, been with them for almost 4 years now...and have no interest in changing carriers...

however i've really started to get frustrated with them now..im running the htc diamond and absolutly love it...

but its starting to get to be a really old phone, its slow and its vga...a lot of the new applications wont run (sense 2.5) properlly on our phones....its so slow that when i ttry and send a text message and another text message is comming in the phone lags or when i have low service, it lags as well..never mind its an older uglier looking phone now compared to the rest

i was really excited about the hd2...that was my phone i didnt care the price i woulda prob spent up to 800 bucks on it...however sprint failed on that 1

months ago i was planning on going to the diamond 2...right it only makes sense i love the diamond, lets move to the diamond 2 then....what happens nopeee sprint decided not to add it to their phone lineup...nothing wrong with the pro2, i just dont use a keyboard its more bulk for nothing (especially since its already a bulky unit)

Theres no excuse.....verizon has their htc imagio that phonee is pretty good looking, i'd be happy with that...butt no, sprint doesnt ever come out with their own exclusive phone.

I GO ON PPCGEEKS TODAY AND WHAT DO I SEE......NO CDMA VERSION REPORTED FOR THE DIAMOND 3.......

LIKE WTF, really what attractive WINDOWS DEVICE do they have out there...i'm not even hearing anything for the future either to keep me satisified, while tmobile especially is getting everything. Id at least be content if they came out with some reports of the wm7 phones coming out in 6-8 months, however no luck

i was interested in that new htc wimax phone...however its andrioid....i like/wamt windows mobile i dont care if its not wm7 as of right now

all i want is a thinn fast attractive windows mobile phone cough htc hd2 cough....thats it, not android or some shitty instinct

I think that Sprint had to pick up the TP2 because the original TP was such a disaster in terms of user experience and reliability. They didn't pick up the Diamond 2 because, frankly, they didn't have a compelling reason. The only real upgrade is in terms of 160 extra vertical pixels ... afaik, the processor, rom and ram are the same.

I hear you regarding the newer devices, thought. That 1 Ghz snapdragon processor, if it isn't a battery hog, has to make the device quite a bit more responsive. However, in this case, I don't think that HTC has produced one for Windows Mobile and CDMA carriers.

Of course, I'd enjoy being educated if I have my facts wrong.

So help me understand ... what do we gain over the Diamond ... 160 pixels and an SD Card? Granted, I wouldn't sneeze at that, but I don't want to use up my new phone, contract renewal credits towards 160 pixels and an SD card slot.

I guess I'm interested to know what Windows Mobile phones from a CDMA perspective (Sprint) exist that are going to give me a processor upgrade and presumably RAM, ROM, etc. upgrade over the Diamond?

I agree, I'd like to have a processor upgrade as well. But if they put out the imagio and it wasn't 350 freaking dollars, after upgrade discount and rebates, I would probably just buy it.

I don't even really care about winmo7, because I assume if sprint gets a 7 phone they won't be allowed on SERO, sprint just needs to release some new winmo phones now, in the mean time.
