back to diamond, advice?

ok so i left my diamond back when ROMS were really kicking it on it, around the time 6.5 was being introduced and i stuck with intx rom 1.6 and i just got my diamond back and im stuck on it for about a week.(until me corporate discount and $29.99 hero arrive) i tried intx's final ROm and it was super SLOW. no offence. i am currently on gadgetfreaks rom as off yesterday and it somewhat solid. nice look, quick for first 5 hours. now its slow again. COULD anyone please RECOMMEND a nice stable rom for me i dont know much about 6.5 or anything newer than that would like to stick to 6.1 but if you can convince me i can probably switch to anything new.. keep in mind i would like it to be fast and im a heavy texter (500+ per day) and heavy data user.. =D will apreciate any help and thanks will be rewarded.. thank diamond users!

Re: back to diamond, advice?

OMJ's Sense ROM. Go for the 6.5.3 and enjoy.

or

Whatever the latest EnergyROM is. Haven't used his in a while, but I'm sure it's stellar.

If you are happy with the old TFlo, go with MightyRom.

Re: back to diamond, advice?

Here's a link to my personal 6.1 (21055) with Sense 2.1. It's a clean rom with lots of room for your own choice of apps, very stable, and quite quick. Enjoy ... http://www.mediafire.com/?d5ntylmnctw

Re: back to diamond, advice?

Do any of these custom ROMs include or have the possibility of including a fix for the 2016 SMS bug?

Running MightyRom 4 final now... I really can't like any of the 6.5 Roms I've tried...

Re: back to diamond, advice?

I'm using dareeseboys 28014 w/standard titanium and it works great
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=70020 , you need to run your carrier cabs because it's generic, but everything works except IE, its stable and battery life is good. The 2016 bug is fixed, I don't know how, but it doesn't show itself, display 2010 just like it should.
I don't use the titanium, I use htchome2, but titanium seemed fine when I tested it.
I'll bet his other roms rock too!
