Phone is dead, what options do I have?

Hey everyone,

So my diamond is pretty much dead. I got it to boot up miraculously a few times, but finally it has given me a reason why it's messing up this bad.

It gave me this "Microp Version Mismatch 0" error. I googled it and from xda it seems it is a hardware problem.

The thing is, it has been a bit more than a year since I have bought this phone(new from ebay) and activated it on my sprint account.

Can I still get it replaced? Or am I stuck with a phone I can only sell for parts?

I do not have TEP.

You're stuck if you don't have insurance. Since you bought it from ebay over a year ago, you could be getting close to your 22 month upgrade from Sprint. You can probably pay to get it fixed, but who knows how much that would be.

Ah that sucks. But how does the manufacturers warranty work?

Re: Phone is dead, what options do I have?

You would need to contact HTC. They will probably ask you to send them your phone, which they may/may not fix under warranty. Also, expect that process to take a LONG time.
