Re: Metro PCS On Sprint Diamond Issue

Don't go to the corp stores. You'll just get the blank stare

You're better off going to an independent, authorized MetroPcs Dealer who knows how to flash the phone. Check craigslist or check different stores. Somebody knows how to flash it to metro. Last you can search ebay, someone's always willing to flash there.

Good luck

Re: Metro PCS On Sprint Diamond Issue

Guin Says:
NOTICE ABOUT METRO PCS: We are no longer flashing phones to Metro PCS because they will not activate the phones we flash even though they openly advertise that they will activate phones from other carriers. We highly recommend that you go with Cricket, Alltel, or Verizon instead of Metro PCS so that you will be able to get your phone activated without any hassle. If you choose "other" and want us to flash your phone to Metro PCS your payment will be refunded except for a $5 processing fee.
At this point, we neither support nor flash to "Metro PCS" We can be of no further assistance to you and suggest you contact your local "Metro PCS" Store.
Thank you, Unlocktotalk.com

Unfortunately most customer service people at metro are too lazy, dont know enough to do their job, or a combination of both. I feel you pain cuz I had to do a lot of driving around til i found someone that could do it.

I have had a diamond on metro for about 9 months an this is what I learned,

1) you have to go to a corporate store to do it. No one else can guarantee it will be activated into the system.
2) Dont go when they are busy. Sad to say customer service drops proportionately to customer volume.
3) Dont take any excuses. When you first give them the phone most will say that they dont think it can be done (translation "im too lazy" or "i dont know how to do it")
4) If you find someone that will try they will hook it up to their Houdini system. It "Will" say that it can be done but when they try they will get an error.
5) They will need to call customer support at Houdini to show them the "work around" to get it working correctly.
6) Once they are done you will be on metro and will have the fun researching on the internet on how to get more than just phone calls and text messaging working again.

Hope this helps. But if you are still interested in selling it let me know.
