HELP! HELP! TOuch Diamond broke and I need it for work!!!

Okay so basically the problem is that phone is extemely slow and the gui is ALL messed up and I can't run any applications. Its hard to describe all the animations lag behind what they actually are. Without active sync working on the phone I Can't flash it to another ROM. I can't flash from interntal storage because my computer CAN'T access the internal storage to put a ROM on there. What can I do???
I really think i could be fixed with a new ROM but I can't get one on there. The only thing that runs right is file explorer. Is there any way I can force my computer to access the internal storage or something?

Hard reset? If your USB port is messed up then you can get a new one under warranty (on your phone).

Well I've tried taking the battery out and rebooting and it didn't help any.
This problem occured after using the phone as a storage device for a hard drive file recovery program. The program however tampered with the phone and now its messed up. I just need to reflash the ROM I think but I don't know how without being able to get active sync going or move anything onto the internal storage. The Start menu doesn't really work either.

That's not a hard reset. Try a hard reset.

Hard reset. if that don't work break it and pay the 100 dollar deductible.

Take the battery out, put it back, hold center button, volume down, & the power button, all together until you get to the screen that says " This will erase blah blah blah" Press the Volume Up button to accept the hard reset.
Let the phone run its course, if its still messed up (or if you want another ROM), take out the battery again, put it back in, this time hold Volume down and power until you get the boot screen.
Plug it into your comp and flash away, the screen should change from "serial" to "usb" to be able to flash in this way.

Just note you will lose everything thats not on the internal storage (contacts, messages, apps, etc) so be prepared.

Thank you all for your help. Thankfully I Didnd't have to do a hard reset. After a number of attempts and waiting the computer finally deteched the internal storage. Then I just dragged over the .nbr file and flashed from the phone after rebooting. Now everything is back to normal, lossed some information but nothing that important at all.
