software keyboard issue

So I'm not sure how many people use the Phone dial pad for the keyboard but its the only thing I can use. I'm having an issue where I'll get a text when the phone is locked. I'll unlock the phone, hit reply on the notification, and when I start to type it sometimes uses numbers instead of letters.

Was hoping someone could confirm this for me.

Thanks,
-Kevin

Re: software keyboard issue

My wife and I are having the same issues, but it seems to come and go. We've yet to go to 6.5 and are both on 6.1. I thought it was some app I installed on my phone, but her's is still stock Verizon and we both randomly have the problem. My hope is it will go away once we go to 6.5.

Which new virtual keyboard are you using? I am on the look out for one that suites me a little bit better.
