Instaling new rom

Hello .. im new whit the android phones ..
I have a HTC desire and i have follow the guid from this forum

"1. Start unrevoked3 ( reflash.exe ) and goto File>Custom Recovery and point it to the recovery image ( recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.1-bravo-slcd.img ) that you downloaded earlier
2. Enable USB debugging on your Desire Settings>Applications>Developement
3. Plug Desire into your computer, unrevoked should start its goodness, If it stalls once it reboots to Hboot, you need to install the Android 1.0 H boot drivers by hand.
4. Once you are left at the recovery boot and unrevoked says "Done!", disconnect your Desire and click the Trackpad to select "reboot system now", phone should reboot into normal mode
5. Check for Superuser Permissions app, if you see it you're good you're now rooted. If not repeat steps 1-4."

Now i have a litle big problem .. dont know what i must do to install the ROm ..
Need to instal other programs .. or only download a Rom .. a radio and instal this 2 and is done?

Thanks for your time

Re: Instaling new rom

You need to download the zip file for the new ROM and place it on your sdcard. Then boot into recovery (power off your phone, and then hold vol down while powering on.) From there, use the volume keys to navigate to recovery and hit power. This will boot you into clockworkmod (the recovery image you installed.) From there, go to backup and restore and do a backup. Once that is done, go to install zip from sdcard and find the ROM that you downloaded earlier. After that is done installing, go to factory reset and do that. Finally go down to advanced and do a dalvik-cache wipe. Once that is done, reboot your phone and you'll be on a new ROM
