is it any good?

Right now I have a treo 700wx but the lmitations on the screen are driving e nutts. Since I hate my carrier anyway, I've decided to get a new phone/ppc.

Can anyone tell me if the wing is any good? Is it worth the price?

The Wing is a good phone with a great feel and look. I prefer a sliding keyboard on an HTC device to that of the Treo. Reception has been very good. More memory would be nice however. I would recommend it.

I have both an xv6700 and the Wing .... side by side I like the Wing better because it is thinner and feels great in your hand .. it seems more sluggish and memory seems to be an issue with all the junk that tmobile has installed. Reception is hard to compare because the 6700 is Verizon and the Wing is Tmobile ... and they are not using the same towers..... but it seems to have fine reception - even outside the city. Basically, if you like the 6700 then you will probably like the Wing OK. I just wish it has a little more power behind it. I run the 3.5 ROM on the 6700 and it pretty much blows the Wing away.

Try memmaid to reclaim some of that leaked memory.
