Questions when getting replacement for the Arrive
Hi guys i recently dropped my Arrive one to many times to the point its acting buggy (speaker issues and random resets after closing the slider), sprint told me that they will have to replace the whole unit rather than fixing it. My questions here are I know i will lose all my previous txts and settings but when i upgraded to Mango via Zune, it saved all my previous txt, home screen tile layouts, accts, setting etc... so:
1) Will i be able to get all those saved setting and such back on from my Zune when i sync or try to upgrade the replacement device? 2) Will Zune just view this as a new device or will it sync my pics and music with the same playlist and all back on as if it the damaged one? I would atleast try and keep all my previous txt messages, or from the point of when i upgraded to Mango if anything. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion you can provide for me guys! |

As long as the device IDs of ur current device and the replacement are the same then Zune should recognize it as the same device and u'll be able to recover everything but I'm not sure.

ok sweet, i was thinking it was pulling it from the device itself like a unique serial id or something. Thanks again for all your help...you guys are always the best!
