Can someone port sense 3.5 to the HTC arive? the UI sucks... i would love to see quick 2.8.414 (www.alensw.com) menu on here as well. oh.. and how about a new ver of slide to unlock :-)

only way to see sense is to use the HTC Hub. and I'm sorry but the UI does not suck, its actually the best UI I've ever used, to see all this information at a glance without having to open an app is brilliant, and I also love watching the tiles flip.

You are gonna have to go to a HTC android device for sense, WP7 doesn't support it.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a wp7 bash thread in which should be watched by a mod like @Tinkerbell

@Tinkerbell it just looks suspicious to me. even tho it may be funny to imagine how infuriated they look when they see what they think the tiles are without ever experiencing them. can't wait to see what ur thread closes sign off will be like. he hasn't came back yet tho which is odd.

if we had more developer interest and alternative UI's such as sense 3.5 id consider getting wp7. i agree with the OP.

i don't think anyone is bashing wp7 eric. most of us came from winmo where we had lots of options and themes. no offense but you seem to be the only member here that's even sticking up for the OS. it's too locked down/ dummed down for most of our tastes. now that's not bashing it, just my opinion.

the bottom line is, if devs wanted to port sense they would have already.

there is an alternative UI for wp7 but u have to be unlocked to get it. we all seen what happened with alternative UIs on WM, alot of complaints of instability and RAM leakage, if everyone used the standard interface for WM those problems wouldn't have been present. this also seems to be the case with android as well where OEMs are now resorting to out of this world hardware to fight the issue. the result is that the dual core stock androids now run about the same level of stability as a WP7 on a single core processor. I also think the problem with alot of users is that they have grown attached to sense and others to the point where they are too blind to accept a pleasant out of the box experience.
