Office Mobile Issues.... Can't delete files!

I have documents that i have emailed to my phone, and are now saved to my phone. trouble is that i can't delete them. When I try i get a message stating "The file is set to read-only and can't be delete". i tried resetting office in the phone settings, but that didn't help.

does anyone else have this issue? and how can i solve this problem without having to restore my phone?

2 questions

1) do u have mango and...

2) are these .doc files...

if both answers are yes then MS made it so that in mango .doc files are read only.

2. all the files are actually .xls (i shouldn't have wrote document). i will try to see if the same issue exists with word files.

It looks like you can only delete the sync files by going to your skydrive. if they are only on your phone, go to "Office", pan over to "Locations" then tap "Phone"; the delete command is available under the tap/hold menu
