They said it will be rolling out over the next couple days its official release date is today though. Hopefully by 6pm cst when i get home ill be able to update. If not I will be finding a way to force update haha

It's just been on checking for updates forever for me since 1PM Central. Maybe the server is jammed?

someone has also stated in a comment a week ago that the demo arrives with mango installed on them had the internet sharing option.

Mine went from being stuck on the "checking for updates" forever back to saying my software version was up to date 7392. I guess I'll mess with it in an hour or so.
I tried the forced NoDo trick by turning off the internet connection and that still didn't work. Oh well?

I was running the official Mango beta and I updated to 7720 about 2 hours ago..had to install 3 updates I believe. but internet sharing is not anywhere to be found...

turn the data connection off on your phone, then sync to zune, then check update, then yank the pc internet...try that :)
