TeleNav GPS w/Mango issues?

Hey guys,

Updated to Mango beta and all has been great except an issue I'm getting with the TeleNav GPS. The navigator voice cuts off and stops after a few words whenever a turn comes up. Anyone have this issue? Minor issue, but still a little annoying.

I have not installed Mango, but I was using telenav In Hawaii last week and when I was sitting at a light on several occasions, it showed me still moving on the GPS and I missed my turns. It also gave me several wrong directions, not sure if it was Telenav, Hawaii, or the adapter I was using to power up my phone.

I never considered the fact that it might be an issue of using it while its plugged in. I got a car adapter recently so that may be a suspect as well. I'll investigate this today.

the telenav GPS has never been the most accurate when it comes to identifying exact location. I had this issue last year on my old TP when I was in GA it wouldn't announce the turn until I was next to it and I'd miss it. seems that it didn't improve much in wp7, with that said just use the built in turn by turn directions

Sadly, the last phone I had with 0 gps lag was the Mogul. Touch Pro introduced a lag that the touch pro 2 and Arrive still have to this day. It has been reduced quite a bit in the arrive though. I guess some may not even notice it. In the past, it was so bad that you would miss turns as it would remind you after you are mid intersection.

On the subject of the map keep going, it does this when you loose a gps signal. They continue straight at the speed you have been travelling to hopefully be in the same area as you when your signal returns. If this happens to anyone, you will notice an x near the satellite symbol on the left.

I had no GPS lag at all on my tp2 with the Bing navigation and neither do I have it on my arrive in Bing

I get this as well on both of my families HTC Arrive since I updated. Annoying but not unworkable. Happens anytime I launch the Nav program.

I've had lots of trouble just signing into TeleNav, so I'm more inclined to believe it's the service than the phone.
