! HELP PLZ ! -- NEED TELUS EXT ROM FILES

I just noticed that I nuked my ext rom last time I re-flashed my rom (Thank you Helmi for you're latest ROM/Kitchen, and everything else too :P !!)

I need someone that has fresh & clean, default Telus (Alberta) EXT Rom cab files. Without these cab files I can't get my CDMA to work...

I promise I'll keep a copy on my HDD (scouts honor), just please someone, I need help this time!

If nobody has any, does anyone else think that if I re-flash to the latest telus rom it will reinstall the ext rom?

Telus user in Ontario here. I am curious what wasn't working that you needed the ExtROM for. I have flashed a few custom ROMs but have always bypassed the ExtROM. The only thing I had to do was manually set up my data connection, which was pretty simple.

Just curious on what you found you needed the ExtROM for.

I use telus in victoria, bc and I didn't let the extROM install after I flashed with kirvin's clean ROM. The only thing that doesn't seem to want to work is windows live... not sure where I'm going wrong there, but yeah everything else works charmingly.

It was the data connection that I couldn't set up, I don't know my info.. How did you go about getting that? I would love to bypass the Telus ExtRom, I hate the default theme it installs.

Go to Settings, Connections...Connections.
Tap on "Add new modem connection"
Enter a new name (I call it TELUS Mobility) and make sure "Cellular Line" is selected for modem.
For the number enter #777
Next screen: Username/Password/Domain leave them all blank
Click Finish.

Occasionally, when I have set this up for the first time (after a hard reset) I got a prompt for username/password when the data tries to connect. I leave them all blank, and check save password and then it works fine without ever bugging me again.

Hope that helps.
