Okay, I did a hard reset and another install with an extended rom. Again it would not let me set up the email stuff before the extended rom started installing.

Now, here is a new problem. In the extended rom are such programs as VC1.6, a hacks program, IDTransfer, and DictEditor. The install went smoothly, but when I go to open some of these apps I am getting the "The file '####' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found". I have even tried to install IDTransfer from a cab on the storage card, but upon a reset I still get the error.

Anyone else seeing this?

It says USB when I have it on the USB cable and Serial when its off the cable. I even took the batter out to reset it and still only got the Serial Screen!

Windows Live Search

I installed LiveSerch and it will not start. I get a certificate error and it tells me to reinstall.

Any one had luck running it?

Installed .net Framework 2 and everything worked fine. So, now I am hard resetting to see if there is any .net files in the original rom.

DictonaryEditor_PPC.ARM.cab

I can not install DictonaryEditor_PPC.ARM.cab. It says it can not find .net compact framework.

Any one had any luck installing programs that require .net compact framework?

Nope, it seems that it is not in the rom. I looked for a few .net files that I knew of but could not find them. I need to get a list of the files that are for .net 1. I have the list for .net 2. Does someone have the cab for .net 1 or know what files it installs?

I know I know how to do this, as I just slapped the old ROM's back on all 3 phones - so its just this one, which I really want! lol.
