Can you do this for Alltel? Here are the server settings:
Name: Alltel MMSC
Gateway: mms.alltel.com
Port Number: 8080
Server address: http://mms.alltel.com/servlets/mms
Connect via:
Sending size limitation: 300k
WAP: WAP 2.0

Thanks! I know people have been waiting for this for a while.

Just to clarify, the cab I posted was for phoenix or whomever to tinker with. It isn't usable out of the box for the apache. Needs some tweaks.

Guys, the cab WONT WORK. You have to do it from the OEM I made. You cant install the newer cab over the older software. You have to start out with this version, no other. And korndogg, did the alltel settings work for you? In theory they should, you just have to know the right settings. Let me know when you find out.

I found a link to the 4.2.8.1 zipped cab from the universal on a XDA page.

I will try installing this and use the 1st posts instructions...

I have the same problem. It would be nice if it could be fixed.

I've got the new 4.2.8.1 version OEM'd up and have a link to it in the first post. Use same instructions as before. Video works in it!

Just confirming - I have helmi's wm6 installed. Do I download from the link on first page. Hard reset my phone then install the cab you provided instead of the 3.5 in helmi's build. I can uninstall the 3.5 in add/remove. So if possible I will uninstall the install ur cab. Note: I reset before customizations run so I don't automatically install 3.5. I go into extended ROM and install the cabs I want. I just want to make sure of how to install. I prefer not to hard reset unless needed. I have a lot of MMS messages I do not want to lose.

What are the benefits of this upgrade?
