Phone as WI-FI AP

I ran across this today:

http://msmobiles.com/news.php/6740.html

Has anyone been able to get it to work on Apache with Helmi's WM6?

Thanks!

I used the following to configure mine and it worked right after I loaded helmi's Apache WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=1547371

I was able to connect two different systems to the adhoc and browse on both no problems.

WOW! Thanks for posting this thisguyinoc! I've been waiting a long time for someone to figure out a way to do this. I just got this working today on an XV6700 running Helmi's WM6 with the instructions located at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=1547371

The used the Universal's tiacxwln1 registry setting on mine and it worked great.

i don't see how they could, other than the volume of data being used.
