Just wanted to chime in with a big thanks to Helmi. Once again he has helped us out with this super upgrade. Without his expertise many of us would have tossed our 6700 already.
One big improvement with WM6 is that the a2dp squeel is gone. I did have a bit of crackling when listening to my Lubix headset so I upgraded to the 1.41 radio and that took care of that.

He doesn't post often, but yes, he's still around. What do you need?

I was curious about his plans for updating the WM6 6700 ROM he expertly crafted a little over a month ago.

Thanks! This is way cool. Everything works great, just having trouble connecting with IE. Does anyone have any suggestions I could try? I'm running an Alltel PPC6700 (UTStarcom).

Hey guys. Big thanks to Helmi, i just recently picked up my Verizon XV6700 and was quite impressed with WM5, but felt like something was lacking. THIS definatly has done the trick and then some.

The only thing I am a little annoyed by is the overall speed of my device. It is quite laggy, which i should probably expect if i run HTC home..BUT, when I try to overclock my PPC with XCPUScalar, it runs great..for about 4 min, then it freezes. Any thoughts??

Another thing, could HTC home lag video players (WM, Youtube) as well? Or is that just inevitable?

Maybe this has been discussed in the past but the hundreds of posts in this topic made me very... Thanks again Helmi, a donation is on the way.
