BuildOS help: "Error Building File System"

I just can't get BuildOS to build this ROM for my Apache. I've done several with the Titan, and it works flawlessly, but I can't get the same success with an Apache build.

Here's what I'm building:
WM 6.1 96dpi QVGA 20748_0409
Verizon
1.0 bootloader
+ Apps

Here's the last segment of the Build Status window that shows up:

Quote:

Processing "_single_8.png" as file
Processing "_start_2.png" as file
Processing "_start_8.png" as file
Processing "_suite_2.png" as file
Processing "_suite_8.png" as file
Processing "__cusTSKTEMP.exe" as file
Checking IMGFS size.
Compiled Size (0x40e0000) greater than Max Rom Size (0x38e5800).
Remove 0x7fa800 bytes (8366080 bytes).
The error that then comes up is:

Quote:

Error building file system
And that's it. I'm pretty much clueless about what to do, not even sure where to start troubleshooting. I searched the forums a bit and didn't find anything immediataly about "error building file system."

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Remove some stuff. Says so right here.

Thanks for the advice -- I've tried a couple times to knock a few things out here and there, and the error still comes up. This is what I've got going on the ROM, is it too much?

I tagged some selections with an asterisk that are questionable. First one that comes to mind is you have .net 2.0 selected and also the .net 3.5 exception messages. For sure leave the exception messages out if you go with 2.0. You also have splce 3 and 3.5 selected. Just choose one of those. It's still a lot of stuff. My rule-of-thumb is building in stuff that doesn't get updated that often and using regular cabs for the stuff that does. Trim off some more fat till it builds, like possibly the games too.

Thanks for the insight in building -- makes a lot of sense to install non-upgradable programs. I really appreciate it, doc!

Never a problem. Though I moved on to the Touch, I still have my Apache and still rank it very high in useable devices. I still keep up with the 6700 forums, just in case someone needs help.
