Hi, the instructions say to put the phone in bootloader. But no, it seems to be too "hard" for a lot of noobs. They just plug in the phone and it gets stuck in bootloader. First of did you use a kitchen? I'm asumming you used Helmi_c's WM6 pre made rom. Chances are it's not compatable with your bootloader. It's WAY too old for your device. You will need to build a custom ROM for your device. Instuctions can be found in my videos on how to flash an Apache. Link is in my signature. And no the phone is not toast, it's in bootloader. Hold it under light and you will see Serial or USB and v1.02 or something like that.

The other day I went back to my 6700 to flash and thought I had killed it...problem was I did a soft reset after the flash. You must do a hard-rest if you are using a kitchen. To fix it, I had to do a hard reset (soft keys+reset), and instead of pressing 'Y' there, once the screen comes up, go to bootloader then.

Most of the time that won't cause the phone not to boot up. It will only cause other problems. Also he didn't use the kitchen. he tried using Helmi's old rom and his bootloader is v2.02 I'm gonna help him over phone later.
