tcpmp dies when loading youtube .flv
 

tcpmp seems to open then abruptly die once it tries to load youtube flv files, thus , youtube isnt working. im using the most recent kitchen with lennysh. how do i fix this?

open tcmp goto setting make sure video is on the raw setting. im just trying to troubleshoot. post back

try this http://www.ytpocket.com/ open your tcmp and try using these settings. dont install, just use settings listed here. also what phone do you have? these work perfect on my touch.

nope none of that worked... i even reduced the buffer on tcpmp and made sure it has Flash and MMS file extensions checked. I click 'play video' in the internet explorer pop up.. tcpmp opens for 1 second, then immediately dies

I ditched these files in my rom. YouTube changes their coding very often which is why new cabs have to be made for the YouTube plugin. The developer of the tools updates quite often when YouTube changes. So whenever there's a new release I just install it by cab. Also I was using YTPocket.com untill the YouTube coding changed and the thumbnails no longer work. It's really bandwith demanding to use the main YouTube site and the YouTube mobile site has to use HTC Streaming Media which is a peice of junk! I wish YTPocket.com was up! I sent the guy an e-mail asking him to PLEASE fix it BTW.

I don't have any problems using YouTube plugin and TCPMP with main YouTube site. Although I do miss ytpocket.com It will probably be fixed in about a year. If you want the pack I use get it here. Just take out the two cabs and put them on the phone. Peace.
