Help with 6700 and cricket prl

I'm having trouble putting a 6700 on cricket and have done many before. I have a cricket custom rom on it but the prl is giving me trouble. I'm using the same exact prl files that work in my area 1040, and 1050. The same exact prl file from my laptop will work on a normal phone and will work on the 2 6700's i did last week for cricket. When i put the cricket prl on the phone there is no sound when it dials and will not connect at all to a *228 or *22807 which is the local cricket code. However with the cricket prl on there a *22800 or *22801 will force it to vzw (a side) or alltel (bside) and sound will come out. When I put the vzw prl back on it it will connect to a *228 and do a *611 and a call cannot be completed when i dial a normal number. I get nothing whatsoever with the cricket prl unless i force the activation to vzw or alltel with a *22800 or 01. Based on this i'm 100% its not the rom, radio, or defect in phone it has something to do with the phone not liking the cricket prl. Also when i do a ##debug it shows im on the correct cricket sid with plenty of signal strength actually more signal for cricket at my house than vzw.

Did you activate the phone on cricket yet? I flashed a v9m and it wouldnt program until it was activated with the cricket service. I used the same prl file that I have on my 6700 for it.

Could someone point me to a PRL for Cricket? I'm gonna be programing one on there soon.

Re: Help with 6700 and cricket prl

Hi I am kind new at this and have scoured the web trying to figure it all out, so far I have manged to find my MSL code (sprint) I have two PDA's a PPC-6700 that has been flashed to windows mobile 6.0(sprint rom) and a PPC-6800 mogul thats basically stock.
now I am ready to upload the new PRL files, I know how to access the menue but I am not sure what PRL is best for use in portland Oregon. I looked at my current flip phone that i use through cricket and it says that it's using 1041. I found a file labled that in one of the packages on your thread as well as one that is 38140 that somene else had uploaded somewhere. does anyone know of the right PRL for my area and could they point me in a direction to download. I have tried both and am not sure that they work.
finally at this point after I get the right PRL on there am I done or do I need to do somthing else before I call Cricket to transfer over my phone. I do understand that I need to configure the WAP internet stuff and Have a good tuturial on that already. any help appreciated I will be looking endlessly for this and may find the answer myself in which case I will report back here.

Re: Help with 6700 and cricket prl

man I have the same issue with the OP. Try only using 01040 so it activates. My keeps switchin over to
01014 for some reason i think it roams and changes...is a Touch Pro on Cricket. anyway I found 01041 and it worked to activate better and got sound from it.. OP try that one
