Help reverting to oem rom?

Hey all,
I flashed to helmis wm6 a while ago and want to flash back to the oem.
I downloaded the oem rom AKU 3.3 but I keep getting an error that software was not designed for my device?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Help reverting to oem rom?

you should try a no_id flash.....you need to download that RUU no id flasher...and dump the stock rom in there (you will need to unzip the installation file)

Re: Help reverting to oem rom?

Just wondering here, what version did you flash to? Was it Helmi's pre made WM6 ROM? If so then give the kitchen a try. His first release was buggy.

Amen. But one thing I LOVE that pre made ROM for is if you are having issues flashing. I swear that thing works every time. But yeah, it is pretty buggy.

IDK. Some guy claims it bricked his phone. But we all know you CAN NOT brick an Apache with software. Only God knows how many times I've tried to do it.

You're telling me. I tried for a week straight to FORCE a mogul ROM into my apache. I wanted bloody GPS and I wasn't about to admit defeat lightly! Plus I wanted to see how much software abuse the thing could take. I even forced Mogul GPS drivers into my Apache and it didn't brick it. That is one solid phone. Except the LCD. I'm on my second one and the bottom of the LCD wiggs out from time to time. My first one I thought was a crap connector, but I was drunk and bored last weekend and decided to see if I could revive it. I FINALLY noticed the LCD was actually cracked. No idea why I couldn't see it before. Musta been the beer goggles that helped me see it this time!

You will love WM6.1! I love my Apache with it. Although I'll be letting it go soon I'm tired of the stubby antena.

Re: Help reverting to oem rom?

OK, I tried the kitchen but keep getiing errors.
Usaually model ID error and sometimes country code error.
Ive tried standard and no id.Ive tried generic for carrier.
Im running boot verion 1.02. In order to put in helmis wm6 i had to change bootloader from 1.04 to 1.02, not sure if that has anything to do with it?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris
