6.1 Battery Issue

I recently upgraded to 6.1. With 5.0 AKU 3.3, the battery used to last about 10 hours. With 6.1, it is only lasting about 4 hours. Anyone know why this might be, and have a way to fix it?

Thanks

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue

I was just bragging at work today about how I'm getting the best battery life from this latest 6.1 upgrade. I took it off the charger around 6am this morning and I just hit 20% at 8pm.

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue

I may have to downgrade back to 5.0. 6.0 is too unstable. 6.1 is very stable, but the battery issue is too much.

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue

i can confirm that.. and my battery is brand new. its way less than 6 and i think 6 was lesser than 5. reason enough to downgrade.
once it went down so fast that i was surprised. from 70pc to a shutdown in my pocket that is zero percent in 4 hours.. no calls or anything.. no wifi or beam its strange i think sum program is leaking.or sumthing.. after soft resetting it doesnt dischage so fast but it doesnt last as long for sure. asb battery meter showed 39 at idling with screen off and bluetooth on and 6 was around the same i think .. but i guess it sucks more power when its on.
i did check the batterbtw y hacks from the kitchen.
btw the slot cycle index in pstn was set to 0... was 0 in wm6 also.. that is the quickest one.. does it matter?

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue

I'm still getting about 2 days of use out of my phone on a full charge. And I found that the battery hacks caused me several problems when included in my ROM. It locked up my phone when it turned off and the phone wouldn't turn back on without resetting it.

Re: 6.1 Battery Issue

sunny: slot cycle index in pstn was set to 0.

set your slot cycle index to 1, 0 will drain the battery like you are experiencing.

Please describe in detail how to change this for some of us not in the loop.
