Lost my vibrate ringer... Pleez help.

Hello,
I am using Helmi's WM 6.1. I have had frequent hang ups before, But yesterday, i seem to have lost my vibrate option. basically when I leave it in Vibrate mode, it acts like it is in silent mode. I have tried soft resets, but dont want to do hard reset.
I have also checked the sounds and notification setting. when it is in the vibrate mode, the little play button does not seem to do anything. but it does ring the regular ring tone when not in vibrate. please help.
Rex.

did you disable the LED's? there is a known issue with one of the LED progs that kills the vibrator too.

there reg edits and a couple progs that will disable your LEDs and it can disable your vibrator but if you did not do that then i dont know why your not vibrating anymore. maybe the motor is dead

Also if you did not disable the LED's....try giving a "Love Tap"...motor could be stuck, I did that once and the motor started to vibrate again.

Re: Lost my vibrate ringer... Pleez help.

Well, dont know how, but it came back and then went off again, i guess, my 6700 is disintegrating after two and half years of use... waiting for the treo 800W. would rather have the touch pro, but cant wait that long. dont know if my phone is going to last.
Sorry for the rant. thanks again all who tried to help....

Re: Lost my vibrate ringer... Pleez help.

It sounds like your motor is getting ready to die. if it has not already.

2 1/2 yrs...I am going on or about that with the orig...but I dont use the vibrate function to much.

The 800w is very nice on what it gives....and I know what you are saying with the Touch Pro....I too am hoping my 67 will hold up till the end of the yr for my xmas present...lol...I guess we will just wait and see
