Re: Flashing with Vista

I just dont know what I'm doing wrong. I've flashed it before on a an XP computer no problem, but this is rediculous lol. Everytime I run the .exe file it will read my phone then say there's a connection error once it goes into boatloader. Ive updated the mobile device center to the newest I could find on the Microsoft website but I think the main problem stems from not reading my phone once it's in boatloader. Any suggestions on anything to try? All help is appreciated! Thanks a lot guys!

Re: Flashing with Vista

Vista and v1.00 phones do not play well together. Upgrade to v1.02 (preferred) or v1.04.

Same here - once you run BuildOS as admin there should be no problems

Vista Ultimate SP1 Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1.695

I just flash my Apache 5 times in the last 24 hours because of the bug here

Mine did that the first time because windows had to install another driver - make sure when you phone is bootloader mode plugged into the computer there us no unrecognized devices.

Re: Flashing with Vista

I just successfully flashed with vista as well. Make sure you specify the correct bootloader version in BuildOS under version. It'll just hang if you don't.
