Re: PPC 6700 Ugrades

hi

I just got a used ut starcomm 6700 and I want to update to windows mobile 6. where should I go for a step by step explanation about this process?
I have seen mention of something like 'kitchen' which does not mean much to me...what are the basic steps?

thanks!

Re: PPC 6700 Ugrades

Nothing is working. I can put in bootloader but activesync does not recognize and i get connection error 100/101 whenever trying to flash. I am considering taking to a pro if it's cheap enough.

Re: PPC 6700 Ugrades

Put phone in bootloader, verify it says USB when plugged in, then use the noid RUU. You can find it in any kitchen. If you have 1.04/2.04/2.05 bootloader, you'll have to do the bootloader reversion process first.

ActiveSync will not recognize your phone while it is in bootoader. This is normal and will not prevent you from flashing.
