Re: Apache WM6.1 19209 XIP (Support 128M RAM)
128MB upgrade in general is not for everyone. Removing and soldering of new memory chip requires lot of knowlege and proper tooling. The 128MB XIP allows the O/S to utilize memory beyond 64MB. This XIP however is backward compatible with 64MB.
The 19209 XIP works well with 19209 SYS. I flashed it on my phone for a few weeks now. It's newer and also officially released. 19701 XIP is also released. I'll give it a try once I get my hand on the 19701 SYS. |
Re: Apache WM6.1 19209 XIP (Support 128M RAM)
The 19701 SYS was put on the PPCGeeks FTP also.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ighlight=19701 Just replce the same files in SYS folder with these files. The .ROM and metadata folder need not be replaced. |
