UTStarcom 6700 Win Mobile 6.1

The new kitchen was so easy to use and I installed Googlemaps but now find that when I have WIFI off and I hit zoom it calls out with CDMAX1 for more data. Do I have to go into the connections options and remove CDMAX1 so it only connects WIFI ?

Tried installing one of the voice dialers and it would not work so installed the Cyberon Voice Commander v2. It works but its recognition is really lousy if there is any background noise. Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Hello!
All you have to do, to disable your data connection, is the following:
Start>>Settings>>Connections Tab>>>Connections..
Now, wait for it to load, and select "Manage My Existing.."; next, tap and hold on the Data Network, or what ever you have as your only item. Select Delete from that menu.
Done. Now, it will never connect, period.

Or, if you do use it, occasionally, just remove one of the numbers, from the number to dial.
Select Edit, and then press next, and on mine, it is #777. If you change it to #77, it won't connect, (At least, I don't think it should).

To make it easier to remember I changed it to #77and7. Still looks like googlemaps connects anyways as there are the <- and -> arrows by the phone connection sysmbol and wireless manager shows data connection.

I'm almost positive, that should not connect.
