I tried to install helmi's WM6.1 5.2.19716 rom onto my Verizon XV6700. It looked as though it was going to work, then I got Error 201: Get device data error. Now its stuck in bootloader mode. both hard resetting and soft resetting bring me back there. What should I do?

Flash back to a Verizon stock Rom and start over.

where can I get a verizon stock rom? I never made a backup.

and would the newly flashed rom have all of the device info on it so it will work with verizon?

alright, thanks. I found the thread that helped me exactly out of my situation.

however, when I switched over to vista 32 and tried to flash the rom, it says RUU has stopped working. and puts me where I was before, stuck in the bootloader.

Some people say they have a hard time with Vista. I guess I got lucky. Do a fast search there are a few threads about RUU's and Vista. What you need to do and how to do it.
