Been a while...kitchen rar question

I've been out of the PPC Kitchen since R2 and just started WM6.1. They've done a great job with the kitchen. I hardly have to work at all now. Anyway, my problem it that I used to edit the main initflashfiles.dat in the SYS directory to reorganize and remove useless shortcuts in the start menu. With this new kitchen, however, the RAR is password protected and I can't get access to it. Is there any way to edit/replace this file in this new kitchen? Thanks!
