Re: WM5 kitchen?

The WM5 kitchens still exist. I have the last Helmi 3.5 release archived, and there may be some on the ftp here. I just don't see why you would want to go back. Could you explain the errors so someone could help?

Re: WM5 kitchen?

Ok, well at first I was trying it on vista MULTIPLE times with different kitchens/roms my first thoughts where damn vista!! Then i tried it on a xp machine and still didn't work. Ive tried to download the RUU drivers for vista but i cant for some odd reason the forum that its hosted on wont let me. Ive tried different versions of RUU because my bootloader is 1.00 and someone said i should change that and that didnt work. Its all coming up with Country ID error or it will say it isnt made for my device.

Re: WM5 kitchen?

can u tell me guitar doc... that is wm6 abd 6.1 anywhere near close to the battery backup and free memory of wm5? people say battery lasted 4 hours (talktime)on wm5... and now does anyone get the same backup on 6.1... people have been writing threads on this but still no proper reason.. iv tried 6-7 different versions of 6 and 6.1 and tried everything from bare minimums n all but the battery stil sucks.. i barely get and hour of talk time from all these roms.. honeslty i cant imagine 4 hours... and my battery is a 1500 li polymer brand new one..and the acb meter still shows similar readings.. so i dont know whats going on..
sumthing has to be there for these stark differences..

The WM5 kitchen uses the same RUU software as the WM6 and WM6.1 kitchens, so it's unlikely your problem will change.

Bootloader v1.00 is not Vista compatible.

What bootloader did you change to? What country are you in?
