MMS not configuring with WM6.1
 

Hello, I recently upgraded my phone to WM 6.1
it is AWESOME so far. there is one problem, i cant get MMS show up in messaging. i have tried to manually install the MMS software in the extended rom and i have tried to manually install arcsoft MMS also.

I have done a search on the forums and it claims that there are no results.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would just like to add that we are also having this same problem (and have also tried the same things so far)...so I am hoping someone can find an answer as well. :)

Doesnt work

Is no good for VZW users. VZW users need Arcsoft installed and then the MMS server info needs to be assigned and config-ed

Acrsoft v5.0.31.16

Once it is installed you go to Inbox -> Menu -> MMS Options -> Servers -> and then click on the server

If it is greyed out then do this:

Use your regedit program and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI
Click to open EnableServerEdit and change the key from 0 to 1. Soft reset (if you need).

Verizon MMS settings should be as follows:

Gateway: <leave blank>
Port: 9201 or 80
Server Address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: Verizon Wireless (or whatever your #777 Internet Connection is named)
Sending Size limit: whatever choices you have
WAP Version: 2.0

is it possible to configure this so you can download/receive SMS via wifi or USB internet connection?
