can't select x.04 RUU
I told my friend about the wm6 update and he wants to do it on his apache. Problem is, he has bootloader 1.04. I know there's problems with loading with it. I searched around here and all the solutions say to change the RUU from standard to x.04 but for some reason it won't let me change from standard. Is there something else he can do or can he upgrade the bootloader to 2.02 (what I have) or something else? Thanks in advance

Re: can't select x.04 RUU
Are you using the wm6 kitchen or the wm6.1 kitchen? x.04+ is no longer an option in the 6.1 kitchen - when you select your bootloader version, the only bootloader you can use will be standard (which is the correct one for the wm6.1 kitchen).

Are you sure it's a 1.04 bootloader phone? Has it ever had a custom rom flashed to it? If so, which? Have you done bootloader revisions on it? Is it of US origin?
