Werid problem with 6.1

with a custom 6.1 rom I made my data connection never goes idle. the arrows stay white all the time and never go to grey and is killing my battery really fast. does anyone know how to fix that.

Use GB-Soft tweak. It is originally designed to work on GSM devices to control the GPRS but also works on CDMA devices such as my Apache and my Vogue.

Harvey...I just want to say .....thanks a millll, I knew there had to be some sort of program that would do this, since I always forget to turn evdo off most of the time....and this program works wonders. Now I can have email checks every hour or so and not worry about having to disconnect manual.

the program doesn't seem to work for me. why doesn't evdo just go idle like it is suppsoed to with 6.1

Dont know if this reg setting has anything to do with going idle

The idle ability of the EVDO has disappeared. Once any internet activity is activated, it stays on permanently and drains the battery quickly. Where has the idle gone?

Small clarification:

internet always on = FALSE

if I open internet explorer or something, it connects. once the program is closed, the internet shuts down too.

so while on HTC HOme, I get the weather. The internet stays on until the phone is dead.

yea its pissing me off. Im about to flash to just regular wm6. So i don't need to use my damn 3200mah battery.

i fixed the problem. when you use the 6.1 kitchen choose the touch dialer then the arrows will work. thanks colonel.
