WM6.1 - not ringing/sms not notifying when locked

This is a problem I have just noticed that didn't happen with WM6.
If my phone is locked or in standby, it wont ring and my sms notification wont happen until i power up or unlock it.

Any ideas on what I may be missing?

edit: help was found on the chat... DO NOT ALLOW CUSTOMISATIONS!!!

Ok, tried on a second apache and am still having this problem. definately a WM6.1 problem

It's OK on mine, but I'm having a problem where received SMS's don't show who they are from and just use the first word of the message as the sender - so I have no idea who they are from and can't reply.
