Any list of changes between Helmi_C's WM6 v. WM6.1?

So far, I've got:
- threaded SMS
- zoom-in functions on IE
- subjective "seems faster" comments

Can anybody else please add to this? Many thanks to all the work done here!

Re: Any list of changes between Helmi_C's WM6 v. WM6.1?

Yeah i'd like to know what else it has too. right now i'm running robmeyers rom, with threaded sms added plus memmaid, plus pocketweather and a couple of other things and i'm happy as hell with it. i've got 28.63MB free on main storage and 17.16 in main programs so i have lots and lots of space. but if there's nothing outstanding with the new rom i'll stick with what i have. the only problem i'm having is the phone breaks up during calls, but thats Alltel i think not the device.

I sure do appreciate all the work everyone does here though! you guys astound me!

My 6700 (verizon) was breaking up a lot, but with radio 1.43 upgrade, (even 1.41 was better than stock), I don't have to worry too much about it now. Maybe they improved signals in my area, but I am thinking it was the better radio. More bars, and better signal.

Does anyone know what the Schaps Advanced Config does? I did a search for it but was unable to find anything useful. Could have been a bad search, but I thought someone might know as well.

It allows you to do a lot of the reg hacks, without using a registry editor. (glymph cache, etc)

There is a task manager now that handles all of the running processes. The old running programs link in the Memory program is gone.

I f you run the kitchen you'll see what's been added and what's been left out. I tried it and got a WPA issue so I flashed back. While trying it though I noticed HTC Home customizer was different, more direct and usable in this version and I will confirm that the OS had a snappier response to commands, starting apps, etc.

Be ready to downsize the amount of programs that can be included in your ROM as well.

I am using 6.1 and I love it. They repaired the WiFi problem with WPA and I am having no issues at all with it. (I use it instead of the data line since all I have is 1x.) I would highly reccommend this ROM upgrade.

Re: Any list of changes between Helmi_C's WM6 v. WM6.1?

Ver6 was able to load more but had some software issues and slowdowns.
6.1 feels more stable and faster at the expense of rom space so I have about 1/3 less progs installed. Software running smoother too, but then again I boosted pagepool size a notch.
