6.1 rom problem.....

I can not get audio manager to work at all. Windows media player doesnt show up in my programs however it shows on my start menu.

When I go to my music files I can not click on them to open.

I am getting the same error when I would try and open audio manager and when I click on the music file. It says something about not having a trusted certificate. I never had this problem before on the the wm6 roms I used to make. I even choose the same programs as the wm6 kitchen figuring there might be a problem with some of the new oems I tried. Still has the same error.

The only way I can get my music files to work is to go through the library and find the file in windows media player.

What is the problem?? Please someone it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 6.1 rom problem.....

Same problem here. There are posts to the sticky on this.

Do you have any other problems? Does HTC Streaming media work for you? When using WMP, do you hear some stuttering or does the sound speed up and slow down? I just noticed the WMP problem on my 6700. Not sure what's going on, but I might need to swap back to 6.0 until some smart folks figure it out. I'm trying a very simple build right now...

Same problem for me as well. I'm really conisdering going back to 6.0. Although I apprehate all the effort that has gone into the development of this ROM I don't think it's ready for prime time quite yet.

Did you include .Net 3.5?

Re: 6.1 rom problem.....

Didn't work for me but you can google the HTC Audio Manager and just drop the files and in and its fixed. It works fine after that.Been running 6.1 after I fixed audio manager for 3 days with no resets so far. Works good so far. Love threaded SMS. Thanks everyone for the great work on this rom. Using WMWIFIRouter on my Apache to post this message right now.

Not sure about the other guys, but by the time I saw the .net radio button it was already checked and I couldn't remove it.

The most helpful thing would be a copy of your selections.txt. This would allow us to see exactly what may be conflicting. If you get a chance and can upload it that would be great. Also, if you need, stop by the chat room found by clicking "Here" in my sig.

Colonel,

Not sure who you are asking to post, but I'll give it a whirl. Here is the last one I tried before switching back to 6.0.

I get the "trusted certificate" error on both Audio Manager and Streaming Media. I have tried manually installing each with the same results.
WMP, and, to a lesser extent TCPMP, stutter and have speed and pitch control problems.

Using the same setting on 6.0, everything works. I'm now on my a 6.0 build with .net 2.0, but everything else basically the same - no problems like above.
