Long Txt Msgs Not Receiving
 

Having issues when people send me long text messages.

If its longer than 160 characters, it don't get the message at all.
If its 160 or Under I get the message just fine.

Using the Threaded SMS app.

Is this an issue with the Threaded SMS?

maybe you should remove threaded sms, hard reset, and move on without it, but make sure your PIM is backed up before you do this. i had a major SMS issue to the point i couldn't receive text at all, but i could still sent them (maybe it's because of 3rd party software, and threaded SMS is the culprate), and that issue has been resolved with the solution i explained earlier, so do the vito sms chat. it's alot better besides the interface.

oh, and when you usually receive messages of more than 160 characters, they usually come into seperate messages. removal of threaded SMS and a hard reset must be done.

I know about the character limit and that they would come in as 2 seperate messages once there over the limit but did not know if the Palm Threaded SMS was the issue or if it was something else.
AM getting ready to go over to WM6.1 Kitchen so might wait and flash and try using the WM6.1 Threaded SMS (all be it a not very flashy version of threaded sms).
I have gotten so use to the Threaded SMS that I don't think I could stand the non-threaded standard SMS that WM6 has.
