Need the SPC (unlock code) for the Teles 6700
 

Anyone know of a program i can use to see the MSL code (unlock Code, Service programing code) for the Telus version of the 6700? I have tried searching the forums but can seem to find anything. I know it is somewhere in there but looking for a push in the right direction. I am runing WM6 with the UTstarcom version of phone.

I think its called a MSL. Do you mean the ##778 VIEW EDIT CANCEL thing, but why do you need the code?

With TELUS there are other way to program the phone via "Over the Air Progaming" by
1. Dial *22803
2. 1 for English / 2 for French
3. 1 for Progaming Phone
4. Dial *22803
5. 1 for English / 2 for French
6. 2 for Update Roaming Codes

This programs comes for the PPC6800 (Telus P4000) side and it should work on the PPC6700

I need to access the sys.sym file to change a few things in there. So i can use my phone on MetroPCS. And your Right it is also called the MSL Setting =)

what you need is a program called qpst it will let you change all service programming stuff...and se47.exe kyocera tools will let you change the msl so you can use qpst...just my .02$

i just did it with a sprint 6700 that i flashed to alltel and got activated...had to change some service stuff with qpst to make it pick up alltels prl and stuff...and yohave to reset msl t0 6 zeros

Mind if i pick you brain for a second, how did you move your PRL files, just deleted the old one and replaced them with the new ones?

for the PRL just download the one you want to use to your pc then upload it on the raoming tab of qpst, or put the file somewhere on your phone and use ##775 and load it that way...yeah i copied all nam settings and stuff off of my other phone..

I am way new to this but I got a ppc6700 and it is with telus is there anyway to use it with sprint or alltell?
