Tethering makes my 6700 freeze...

OK, so I just got a macbook pro and wanted to tether my phone for mobile internet. I tried, got it working, started surfing, then all the sudden, the phone freezes... no key press tone, nothing at all. So i actually went as far as to call VZW and have them put tethering on my 6700 (thinking it must be some sort of line kill that they do, only to find out later that the helmi kitchen which i use has that reg tweak that keeps VZW from knowing im teathered.) and still it will connect let me surf for a few minutes or two then it crashs. Any one have any idea whats going on? im going to reflash tonight just to see if that helps.

well I didn't manually start wmodem. so im not really sure. having wmodem running dosnt seem to make a difference. and running internet sharing dosnt either. But, i can use WMWifiRouter and it works flawlessly... aside from an old battery and only about 60% its original power, but I digest....

Talking

My brother has a macbook and he had similar issues with my 6700... we ended up internet sharing through BT and plugged in the usb to keep up with the battery... btw this is a good way to use your 6700 as a heater... who knew this thing had so many capabilities!
