Question WM6 + EMAIL + 4 SDHC = only 2gigs?

I am confused that i can look up the storage card via memory and it registers 3800 megs.
Yet, when I pull up the "storage" tab (for the email attachments) in messaging for email- it only registers 2 gigs?
Is there a cure for this?

Current set up:

WM6
4gig SDHC( with the HTC SDHC)

Thanks All!

You are using the Rob Mayer WM6 right? If so I do not think his ROM had SDHC support in it. I have a 6 gig card with no issues and I am using Helmi's WM6 kitchen to build my ROM. You might want to try Helmi's kitchen.

Should you have addtl questions do not hesitate to PM me.

You won't regret using the kitchen. It is very easy and you can make your phone the way YOU want it. If you want it C&S, then build it C&S. Just like Burger King- Have it your way.

strickly,

I am running Rob's B7 build and installed one of the several (there are like 3 or 4) SDHC cab files floating around. No need to mess with a kitchen if you are happy with the ROM you have (as I am). Here is a link to the cab file that works just fine:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=328330

The latest kitchen reduces the block transfer size for people who's music skips, (my music however plays just fine without this hack). If you want you can manually make that change here:

HKLM/drivers/sdcard/clientdrivers/class

Change the "BlockTransferSize" values of MMC_Class and SDMemory_Class to 20 (20 is hex)
