not getting texts and people not getting mine

sorry if this is a nOOb question i tried searching first

but basically i can be in the middle of texting someone and then instead of getting a text my screen just lights up

and i have plenty of people complaining that they never get any of my texts

is there anything i can do to fix this any upgrades ?

i think i get what ur saying....

with my phone it takes sometimes 20 minutes for somone to get my text and it takes forever for me to get theres. only time i ever receive all of them is when i make a call...lets just say its like delayed messaging
