Re: Help Downgrading 6700 to wm5 using card
this is only for sprint customer
This software is available at http://www.sprint.com/downloads. From the drop down box select "Windows CE" and then select "Submit." When the next screen appears, scroll down to "PPC 6700 software upgrade" and then select "download" to download the file. Customers should download the file to their laptop/desktop. Next, after connecting the PPC-6700 to the laptop/desktop using the USB cable originally included with the PPC-6700, double-click on the downloaded ".exe" file to start the installation process. Then follow the onscreen instructions. The upgrade procedure takes approximately 20 minutes. |

Re: Help Downgrading 6700 to wm5 using card
A related question: Can you flash upgraded kitchen roms via the mini-sd card as well? I am not even sure where the rom file is stored in the new Kitchen these days.
My apache too has a busted usb port, and I am attempting to limp along with it till the touch pro (or what ever the next sprint phone is) rolls out.

Re: Help Downgrading 6700 to wm5 using card
you can flash anything down to a minisd but the files are not able to be read by anything i can fine other than the boot loader. so it has to be done from a phone with the existing rom you want not simply take the file from the kitchen and put it on an sd and there you go. I think the hermes can do that but have not found that you can with the apache as of yet maybe someone else does
