Best way to track down memory leaks?

Hi guys, new here but longtime PPC6700 owner.

I just installed (Build 18508.0.7.0) 20071217, upgrading from previous Helmi's WM5 AKU 3.5. It's very slick and I like it a lot, but I am experiencing odd memory problems. After a fresh soft reset, my free program memory is 20mb. A few hours later, with light usage, it's down to about 7mb and many programs refuse to start or fail to run properly. A soft reset fixes the problem.

I'm running the following "extras" that may affect the memory: (Latest versions of each)
- Wisbar Advance 3
- vBirthday Deluxe
- PhoneAlarm Full
- PhotoContacts Pro 5

I've also got ActiveSync set up with an exchange server doing push, and an IMAP account that checks every 15 minutes.

My questions are:

1. Are any of the things I listed above possible causes for this memory leak?
2. Is there a way to figure out what is causing the leak?
3. Can I fix this? I really want to stay with this new ROM.

Thanks for your time and patience,
-Av

i would say get quick menu and map the hybernate feature to a button. thats what i do and it reclaims alot of lost memory...and its free.

but it's not happy with some programs built into rom. I am not sure which, but I currently have SPB Pocket Plus (4.01) and SBSH Pocket Breeze (5.3) in the ROM (Pocket Weather 2.01 installed, but not in rom) and when I use the hybernate it will frequently freeze the phone. Didn't have this when both were standard install. And I don't think it was doing it with PocketPlus only in rom, however, I have stopped. Which is a shame since it does work well :)
