New to Site

hi everyone. i am new to the site and have never done anything to my verizon 6700 with win 5. i would really like to get win 6. but i dont know much about the way to do it. i was looking around throught the site, but still i dont know what i am doing. i dont know anything about bootloaders or kitchens or what a rom is, or anything. very amateur. is there a tutorial or somehting i can get more familiar with my phone with. i dont even know what a soft reset or what a notes+power+soft reset or hard reset is or anything. is there a no frills way for me to install win6 or am i doomed?

any help would be greatly appreciated.:headbang:

Two threads down in a post called "Tutorial to upgrade your ROM to WM6".

The booklet that came with the phone has diagrams too. May be helpful.

Doomed. You're going to have to learn a little to upgrade your phone. The actual process is pretty easy, but you need to know what the various buttons are on your phone (use the diagrams at the front of your manual) and have some passing familiarity with winzip/winrar.

As to what a bootloader/kitchen/rom is, I'll add that to the tutorial thread mentioned in the prior post.
