HTC Home Plugin 2.1/HHC 1.0b5

I have been successful in using the latest version of the HHC to customize the HTC Home Plugin 2.1. What I would like to do is customize the Home Plugin and then export these changes out for inclusion in a personal OEM.

Has anyone done this? I have been successful in getting the launcher, weather, and fave people into my ROM build. What I cannot seem to figure out is how to include the Home customizations like changing the color of the clock, changing the icons to color, etc.

If anyone has the answers I would be appreciative. I am stilling trying to work through this but any help is appreciated.
