Why the program can't close?

When I running some program, and click the x icon to close it, but it still running, I must go to the task manager to stop it, why? Thanks!

That is how Windows Mobile was designed. Kinda dumb, huh? Anyway, there are lots of programs that change this behavior. WkTask, HTC X button, but my favorite is QuickMenu because it does Cascading Menus in addition to changing the X button behavior. Look in the Software forum for these programs.

I tried to use the quick menu, but it has the battery display, if I use it, there will be two battery display on right top, how can I remove the orginal battery display? Thanks!

Dude, just push start, then QuikMenu, option...
in VIEW, look for "show battery on taskbar" and uncheck it...
Then OK...
