Silly Question Re:car connectivity WM6

I was just wondering if anyone who did the WM6 change would know if the 6700 has any better car connectivity. Specifically, what I was wondering was if signal strength, and battery level are transmitted or this specifically related to the hardware? When I connect to my car both of these items are missing under WM5. When I had a Moto Q phone, these items were visible on the car screen. Similarly, can you transmit the phonebook contacts from the phone over BT? I doubt that it matters much, but I am using the connection in an Infiniti.
Thanks in advance!

For me, using the Pioneer 9800BT headunit, it was more compatible with WM5 that WM6. However, you may want to check out: http://www.jetwaremobile.com/ ... I have everything working perfectly after using their software.

Same here. Don't install Jetware on WM6 - you don't need it. If anything it made bluetooth unreliable. The issue you're going to run into are (if your car supports it) is sending all your contacts over BT so it shows you who's calling on your LCD in the car. I had to export all my contacts to one big vcf, save it to the storage card and then beam it over via obex.

the only problem for me is my phonebook only holds 40 numbers in the car phonebook. I have well over 300 contacts on my phone, so I can't sync all of them.

What WM6 rom are you guys running? Im on the newest kitchen from helmi and I can't get battery or signal without jetware, yet it worked fine in WM5 for me. If I was you cbones, I would update to wm6 and see what happens, obviously I wouldn't install jetware if everything is working, but if its not, like in my case, it fixes everything... and I have had 0 issues with reliability using it.
