But they do have a PPC client which I used effectively with my Apache when it had WM5 on it.
Haven't tried it with WM6 yet.

I think gizmo is proprietary too. The easy way to tell is if they publish in their FAQ section directions for setting up your SIP client. If they don't do that, you're out of luck for WM6 built-in VOIP support.
Many of the proprietary VOIP vendors offer their own PPC client. Nothing wrong with using that and WM6 - it might even be better. |

It works just like the desktop version. I use it on my PPC and works well.

you are actually wasting your time with VOIP on the 6700 anyway. it doesnt work at all for the US domestic carriers... even over WiFI. I tried and it just doesnt work. And even if you could get it figured out, the standard earpiece is not what you'd be listening through. you would have to listen out of the speaker. I wouldnt even bother including the VOIP options in your build.

I've also used the WM version of Skype, worked quite well......using the bluetooth tool from trianglepowers, I was even able to route the conversation to my headset.
would'nt skype be considered VOIP? |
